Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze in the balance beam. She was the only American to win many Olympic medals. The year she was in 2016, along with the teammate Gabby Doug were the only Americans to win back-to-back team gold medals. Additionally, she took home two silver medals in the floor exercise and individual all-around. In between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics over three seasons. Gold medal winner American team also took part in the two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics in the age of 2 and her favourite event is flooring exercise. Aly believes in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. She plans to pursue one in the fashion industry and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks later on. She's writing a book named Fierce to be published in the coming months.
